Hush Link

Hush Link is a personal safety app that listens for user-configured duress phrases while the app is armed. When a configured phrase is detected, Hush Link can notify watchers and share live location updates.

On your device, Hush Link stores configured phrases, watcher-channel identifiers, and app settings until you remove them, clear app data, uninstall the app, or use the in-app destroy/reset controls.

During live analysis, the backend keeps a short rolling audio buffer in memory. Raw audio recordings are not intended to be retained as part of normal operation of the official Hush Link service.

Limited operational and alert-delivery records may be kept only as needed to keep watcher links working and show current or recent alert state.

Hush Link shares alert status and location information with the watchers you authorize through your watcher link.

Hush Link may use service providers that help us run the app, operate live analysis, and deliver alerts.

Hush Link does not sell personal data.

You can choose whether to enable location sharing.

You can disarm the app at any time to stop live listening.

You can remove phrases, regenerate watcher links, revoke app permissions in your device settings, or delete local app data.

The Settings screen includes a Destroy All Data action that also removes the linked watcher channel from the official service when the app can reach the network.

Hush Link is designed to transmit data using encrypted network connections and to limit access to sensitive data to the minimum needed to operate the service.
